One of Kenneth’s short term goals was to win a 70.3 Ironman. After a strong comeback race in Luxembourg he reached this goal! In the entire race he kept getting closer and closer to Lukasz Wojt who came out af the water in first place and stayed there until Kenneth passed him at 13km before the finish line.
“I did a decent swimming part and knew that my strenght in the biking and running could get me to the front of the race. When I passed Wojt, I knew that Bas Diederen was just 50 seconds behind and I just hoped to be able to keep Diederen at the same distance until the finish. I’m so happy with my first IM 70.3 victory!”
