Kenneth Vandendriessche

Kenneth Vandendriessche came second in September 2016 in the Ironman 70.3 in Lanzarote, where another Belgian, Pieter Heemeryck, finished first. In the same year, he became Belgian triathlon champion, European duathlon champion and he finished first at the Volcano Triathlon.

His ambition? Very simple: To perform even better. At the European Championships ½ triathlon in Austria, Kenneth faced huge setbacks. “But in Lanzarote I was in top condition. Especially with swimming. So I am going to work even harder on the swimming event. And I need to recharge my batteries to reduce the gap with the absolute top in the 70.3 Ironman.”

“2016 was an excellent year, without doubt. For 2017, I hope to move a few more steps up with the Itzu Tri Team”.
